
A 60-year-old woman was killed Saturday evening in a three-vehicle collision on Dehesa Road near Rancho San Diego.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. when the woman, driving a Nissan Sentra westbound, veered into the eastbound lane for unknown reasons. The Sentra collided head-on with a Honda Pilot before spinning out and striking a Ford F-150.
Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda and a passenger in the Ford both sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident is currently being investigated.
