
SAN BERNARDINO, CA – A deadly crash on eastbound Interstate 40, south of Ludlow, occurred Monday morning, with a Chevy truck and 30-foot utility trailer flipping and rolling into a wash.
The collision, reported around 8:30 a.m. near mile marker 40, left the male driver trapped without a pulse, while a dog inside the vehicle was injured.
Emergency responders arrived at 9:25 a.m. to find the vehicle in a drainage ditch. Firefighters pronounced the driver dead at the scene, and Animal Control was called to care for the injured dog. The fatal crash near Ludlow is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
