LOS ANGELES, CA (November 5, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed late Sunday night in a collision involving two vehicles in South Los Angeles’ Vermont Square neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11:43 p.m. at the intersection of West 41st Place and Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division.
Upon arrival, first responders found two vehicles and a pedestrian down on the roadway. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The identities of the deceased and the drivers have not been released.
Both drivers were uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with police. The LAPD is investigating the circumstances leading to the South LA vehicle collision.
