TRACY, CA (October 25, 2024) – A Kimball High School student sustained major injuries after being struck by a car in Tracy, California. The incident occurred on South Lammers Road shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday, according to the Tracy Police Department.
The student, who was on foot at the time, was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the car accident near Tracy High School.
Traffic was diverted from the northbound lanes near the high school to facilitate the ongoing investigation. The police have yet to determine the cause of the accident.
