COSTA MESA, CA (November 17, 2024) – A 32-year-old restaurant employee died Saturday morning after falling from a ladder at Maggiano’s Little Italy in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa authorities said. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 7:50 a.m. and found the man had suffered severe head trauma from the fall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Costa Mesa Police Department stated that the worker fell while descending from the restaurant’s roof. Officials are investigating the incident as an accidental death and do not believe foul play was involved.
