One Dead, Two Injured in Violent Two-Car Crash in Signal Hill

SIGNAL HILL, CA (July 15, 2024) — A violent two-car crash in Signal Hill left one person dead and two others injured on Sunday. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cherry Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Emergency responders arrived to find both vehicles severely damaged. Paramedics transported two victims to the hospital, though their conditions are not yet known. The identity of the deceased has not been released. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
