Passenger Critically Injured in Southwest Bakersfield Crash
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 15, 2024) — A two-vehicle collision in southwest Bakersfield has left one passenger in critical condition with major injuries.
The incident occurred late Saturday night when a Honda Civic, attempting a westbound turn onto South Laurelglen Boulevard from northbound Gosford Road, collided with a southbound BMW.
The Bakersfield vehicle crash happened around 10:20 p.m., and both drivers stayed at the scene to cooperate with Bakersfield police. Authorities noted that neither drugs, alcohol, nor speed were factors in the accident. The injured passenger was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
