Pickup Truck Driver Charged in Fatal Rialto Car Crash

RIALTO, CA (March 26, 2024) — A catastrophic event happened in the early hours of the morning on South Riverside Avenue, Rialto resulting in the death of one individual and the arrest of another.
At around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, a collision involving a Ford F-150 and a Toyota Echo was reported. The Echo’s driver, Gregory McDonald, 57, of Moreno Valley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, Marcus Fiorillo, 27, from Banning, was found to be unharmed.
Subsequent investigations led to Fiorillo’s arrest, with charges including second-degree murder and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, according to official records. He is currently held without bail in a San Bernardino County detention center.
