Truck Accident Claims 12-Year-Old’s Life in Fresno County
FRESNO, CA (March 26, 2024) —
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has reported a fatal crash that took the life of a 12-year-old boy, identified as Ian Brady, amidst adverse weather conditions.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, on Highway 99, just north of Clovis Avenue. According to CHP officials, a 40-year-old driver, navigating a Ram pickup southbound on the rain-slicked road, lost control. The vehicle veered down a grass embankment, crashing into a wire fence before rolling over.
Tragically, Ian Brady, who was not secured by a seatbelt at the time, was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, along with two other passengers aged 14, sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
