Unlicensed Teen Causes Major Crash into Subway and House
VAN NUYS, CA (April 21, 2024) — A speeding vehicle driven by an unlicensed 15-year-old crashed into a Subway restaurant and a neighboring home in Van Nuys on Friday night.
The teen car crash in Van Nuys occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Saticoy Street, east of Sepulveda Boulevard, and left three people injured.
Surveillance video captured the vehicle losing control at a high speed and violently smashing through the Subway’s outdoor seating area. The car then collided with a BMW sedan, flipped over, and ultimately came to rest atop four other vehicles in an adjacent driveway.
