Victorville Man Identified as Fatality in Head-On Collision
VICTORVILLE, CA (October 2, 2024) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified 33-year-old Arturo C. Conde from Adelanto as the victim of a fatal accident in Victorville. The crash occurred early Sunday morning, September 29, 2024, at approximately 12:11 a.m. near the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road.
Responding to the incident, deputies from the Victorville Police Station, along with the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, found that a blue Toyota Corolla driven by Conde had crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a white Chevrolet Silverado.
Conde suffered severe injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The collision led to the closure of Green Tree Boulevard between Coad Road and Hesperia Road for several hours as investigators worked at the scene.
