Vikings’ Jordan Addison Arrested on DUI Suspicion in LA

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 15, 2024) — Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested on Friday night on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The former University of Southern California standout was found asleep behind the wheel of a disabled white Rolls-Royce blocking a lane on the westbound 105 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard around 11:10 p.m.
CHP officers conducted a DUI investigation and arrested Addison, 22, shortly after 11:35 p.m. He was released approximately two hours later. The Vikings acknowledged the incident in a statement on Sunday, saying, “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”
Addison, who was selected with the 23rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft after transferring from the University of Pittsburgh to USC for one season, had a notable rookie season with the Vikings. He recorded 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
This is not Addison’s first brush with traffic violations. Almost a year ago, on July 20, 2023, he was cited for speeding and reckless driving in Minnesota when he was clocked driving his Lamborghini Urus at 140 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.
