Woman Hospitalized After Being Struck by a Car in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 13, 2024) — A woman is recovering after being critically injured in a car collision Thursday night in Sacramento.
According to Officer Anthony Gamble of the Sacramento Police Department, the incident occurred near the intersection of Sutterville Road and 21st Street. Officers arriving at the scene found the woman in critical condition. She was transported to a local hospital, where her condition has since stabilized.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances that led to the collision. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
