4 Killed in High-Speed Stanislaus County Crash [La Grange, CA]
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (June 4, 2024) — A tragic high-speed collision in rural Stanislaus County on Friday evening resulted in the deaths of four individuals. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Bonds Flat Road and La Grange Road, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Michael Keith, 56, from Stockton, was driving his pickup truck northbound on Bonds Flat Road. In an attempt to overtake another vehicle, Keith crossed the double yellow lines while driving at a speed of 100 mph. This maneuver led to a head-on collision with a Toyota Highlander traveling southbound at approximately 45 mph.
The impact of the collision was fatal for all occupants involved. The victims include Michael Keith, Donna Yarnal, 66, of Modesto, and Cindi Schuchterman, 65, of Salida, who were passengers in Keith’s truck, along with Janelle Hall, 33, from La Grange, who was driving the Highlander.
