$50,000 Reward Offered for Information on Fatal Larchmont Hit-and-Run
LARCHMONT, CA (July 9, 2024) — Los Angeles police are calling for public assistance in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old woman in the Larchmont area. The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on June 22 at the intersection of N. Western Avenue and Rosewood Avenue.
The victim, who has yet to be identified, was crossing Western Avenue within a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a late-model white pickup truck, suspected to be either a Ford or Chevrolet. After the collision, the vehicle continued southbound on Western Avenue without stopping.
The injured woman was transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. In response to the tragic event, the City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 through the Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. The reward is for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible for this fatal Larchmont hit-and-run.
