EXPOSITION PARK, CA (July 18, 2024) — A collision between a Metro Expo Line train and a white SUV occurred in Exposition Park early Wednesday afternoon. The accident took place around 1:30 p.m. Details have yet to be disclosed.
The white SUV reportedly sustained minor damage, but the conditions of its occupants and those aboard the train remain unknown as of this writing.
Metro spokesperson Dave Sotero informed KTLA that the crash happened on the westbound E Line. Despite the ongoing investigation into the Metro Expo Line crash, E Line rail service continues, with operations limited to a single track to accommodate the situation.
