Pedestrian Death in Ontario Under Investigation

ONTARIO, CA (July 16, 2024) — A tragic pedestrian accident occurred late Monday night in Ontario, resulting in a fatality.
The Ontario Police Department responded to the incident at approximately 11 p.m. at the intersection of South Milliken Avenue and Jurupa Street, adjacent to the 15 Freeway. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the victim deceased in the eastbound lanes of Jurupa Street. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Initially, the pedestrian death in Ontario was believed to be a hit-and-run. However, further investigation revealed that the driver involved remained at the scene and is actively cooperating with the authorities.
