Critical Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Mojave Drive in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 10, 2024) — A serious traffic accident involving four vehicles prompted the closure of a section of Mojave Drive in Victorville on Tuesday.
The collision on Mojave reportedly happened at around 11:25 AM at the intersection of Topango Road, involving a black Kia Optima, a black GMC Sierra, a burgundy Honda Accord, and an unidentified burgundy SUV. The SUV overturned and came to rest in the desert area adjacent to the roadway.
The Victorville City Fire Department was quick to respond to the scene. Due to the severity of the injuries, one critically injured individual was airlifted to a trauma center, while two others received transport to local hospitals by ground ambulances.
For safety and to support the ongoing investigation, Victorville City Public Works closed Mojave Drive between Amargosa Road and Don Roberto Road.
