Two Hospitalized After Highway 160 Crash in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 19, 2024) — Two individuals were hospitalized with major injuries following a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 160 in Sacramento Wednesday evening. The incident, reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. near Blumenfeld and Fee Drive, involved a Nissan Sentra and a red Chevy Silverado pickup.
According to a California Highway Patrol sergeant, the Sentra, carrying three men, emerged from beneath the freeway, crossing the path of the Silverado. The impact forced both vehicles off the roadway. While the driver of the Silverado was unharmed, the Sentra’s driver and front passenger sustained serious injuries. A third passenger in the Sentra was uninjured.
