LAPD Seeks Leads in Hit-and-Run That Left Bicyclist Critically Injured

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 17, 2024) — Los Angeles police are calling for public assistance to locate the driver responsible for a hit-and-run incident that severely injured a 63-year-old bicyclist in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood earlier this month.
The collision reportedly happened just before 10:30 p.m. on September 2, when the man was struck by a sedan on Hoover Street near 79th Street as he attempted to rise after falling.
