Fatal Two-Car Collision on Walerga Road Near Roseville
ROSEVILLE, CA (April 17, 2024) — A devastating crash on Walerga Road at Doyle Ranch Drive near Roseville has resulted in one fatality and left another person severely injured. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The collision involved a northbound Mazda turning onto Doyle Ranch Drive and a Mercedes whose driver collided with the Mazda.
The impact resulted in major injuries for the Mazda’s driver and the death of his passenger. The driver of the Mercedes was also hospitalized with complaints of pain.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased in the Walerga Road car crash. The intersection was closed for an extended period for investigation, which remains ongoing.
