Hit-and-Run Driver Kills Motorcyclist in Lancaster

LANCASTER, CA (April 17, 2024) — A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Lancaster on Monday night, sparking a search for the driver responsible.
The fatal incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Avenue K near 42nd Street West, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Detective Ryan Ament of the LASD provided details, stating, “The male was ejected from his motorcycle for an unknown reason and landed in the eastbound lane, where he was hit by an unknown white sedan.” The driver of the sedan did not stop and fled the scene immediately after the collision.
