A gray Toyota Corolla traveling eastbound collided with the pedestrians as they crossed the street approximately 100 yards from the intersection.
The victims were swiftly transported to local hospitals; one individual succumbed to their injuries at Tri City Medical Center shortly after arrival, while the other two suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are being treated at Palomar Medical Center.
