CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (June 6, 2024) — Cathedral City Police are intensifying their search for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a bicyclist last month. The incident occurred near Ramon Road and Landau Boulevard on the evening of May 8.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the bicyclist who was tragically pronounced dead. In an effort to locate the responsible driver, police have released a description of the suspected vehicle—a dark-colored Nissan Versa, model years 2014 to 2019, which is believed to have major front-end damage and missing parts.
