Motorcyclist Killed in Double Hit-and-Run in Lincoln Heights
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 19, 2024) — Two hit-and-run drivers remain at large after a motorcyclist was struck and killed in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. near the intersection of South Avenue 20 and North Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Investigators revealed that a driver, possibly in a Ford F-150 truck, ran a red light, causing the motorcyclist to fall onto the street. The driver did not stop and continued driving. Moments later, another vehicle ran over the fallen motorcyclist and also fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital but later died from the injuries. Authorities are searching for surveillance footage of the Lincoln Heights motorcycle accident
and have not released suspect descriptions. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
