Motorcyclist Injured in I-805 Collision Near North Park
NORTH PARK, CA (July 19, 2024) — A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a crash involving two other vehicles Wednesday morning on Interstate 805 near North Park.
The California Highway Patrol reported that shortly after 6 a.m., the motorcyclist collided with a Chevrolet Silverado while traveling northbound on I-805 near University Avenue. The rider lost control and subsequently crashed into a Toyota van.
The rider, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries. No other injuries were reported in the multi-vehicle collision. CHP confirmed that all parties involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No further details were immediately available on the North Park motorcycle crash.
