Los Angeles, CA – A driver struck a 22-year-old woman as she crossed Western Avenue in East Hollywood around 3:40 a.m. on October 16, 2024, then sped off, leaving her with serious injuries.
Los Angeles police released security footage showing a gray sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, heading north on Western Avenue near Clinton Street moments before impact.
Paramedics transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital. Detectives say a man walking with the victim fled after the crash without identifying himself to officers. Authorities are now asking the public to share any tips that could help them track down the driver involved in the hit-and-run in East Hollywood.
