TORRANCE, CA – A 28-year-old man from Wilmington was killed Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Torrance Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. when the victim, driving a 2017 Ford Mustang westbound, lost control and collided with a 2023 Honda Accord. The Mustang then crossed into oncoming traffic, striking a 2018 Toyota Highlander and a Hyundai IONIQ6.
Debris from the collision also hit a 2024 Hyundai Tucson, traveling eastbound. The driver of the Mustang was rushed to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Honda driver was unharmed, and the drivers of the Highlander and Hyundai IONIQ6 sustained minor injuries but were treated at the scene. No further injuries were reported.
