New details have emerged regarding a fatal crash that took place on February 25, 2025, in Adelanto, where a pedestrian was struck multiple times on Palmdale Road.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 60-year-old Paul J. Ceniceros, a resident of Adelanto. According to authorities, Ceniceros was crossing Palmdale Road near Bellflower Street around 7:07 p.m. when he was first hit by a full-size pickup truck traveling westbound. The driver, initially unaware of the collision, turned around and returned to the scene.
Upon realizing what had happened, the driver attempted to prevent further accidents by positioning their vehicle to block traffic. However, multiple other vehicles subsequently struck Ceniceros, and none of those drivers stopped or returned.
The Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station is actively investigating the Adelanto pedestrian crash and is urging anyone who may have been involved — especially those who might not have realized they hit something — to come forward. No citations have been issued at the time of writing.
