Two people lost their lives in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 395 in Victorville on March 26.
The incident reportedly happened at 5:28 p.m. just north of Bear Valley Road when a black SUV, attempting to pass a gray SUV, collided head-on with an oncoming semi-truck. The impact forced the black SUV into the gray vehicle.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Gloria Orejel stated that both drivers of the SUVs were pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver sustained injuries classified as delayed and did not require critical medical care.
Victorville Fire Department personnel responded promptly. Investigators continue to examine the scene, and additional details are expected as the investigation into the Victorville SUV vs semi-truck crash proceeds.
