
A solo-vehicle collision on westbound 60 Freeway in the Chino area early Monday morning resulted in two fatalities.
The incident happened near Reservoir Street at approximately 2 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. When authorities arrived, they confirmed that two adults had been killed in the crash.
A mother and her baby, who were also in the vehicle, were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down for several hours to allow emergency responders to clear the scene. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
