
A 67-year-old man riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was killed in a major collision on Sheep Creek Road in the Victorville Area on April 7, 2025, at approximately 5:20 p.m.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol and emergency crews responded to reports of a severe traffic collision just south of Shepherd Road. Upon arrival, first responders located the motorcyclist, who had sustained critical injuries after making an unsafe turning movement that caused him to lose control and crash into a dirt embankment.
The rider was fully ejected from his motorcycle. Emergency crews administered immediate treatment and San Bernardino County Fire personnel airlifted him to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Officials confirmed that drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the incident, and the victim’s identity will be released pending notification of next of kin. Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the crash on Sheep Creek Road.
