A motorcyclist is left with serious injuries after crashing into a sedan in front of the El Patron Family Restaurant on Phelan Road Thursday afternoon.
Officers received reports of the crash at around 1:27 p.m. from the 3700 block, near the intersection with Lebec Road and west of Sheep Creek Road.
Initial reports indicate that the 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide and a black Honda Civic were both heading west when a failed maneuver to turn left by both parties led to the motorcycle colliding with the Sedan’s side.
The rider was found unresponsive and was later transported to the hospital via ambulance under a Code 3 after he was considered to be in critical condition.
Meanwhile the Honda Civic sustained major damages to the vehicle with the driver only having non-life threatening injuries.
