Two drivers were killed following a head-on crash near Fairview Avenue in Brentwood Wednesday night.
The crash happened at around 10:20 p.m. When the authorities and paramedics arrived, they were met with two vehicles, including an electric SUV, involved in a fatal head-on crash in the eastbound lanes.
First responders were unable to approach the scene because the electric SUV caught on fire following the crash, sparking a dangerous battery fire in the area.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
