A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon in a collision with an SUV just south of the I-215 Freeway near Palm Avenue.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:12 p.m. Responding officers confirmed the incident involved a gray Ford SUV and a motorcycle. According to a log entry from law enforcement, the rider collided with the SUV, resulting in significant damage.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Further information regarding the identities and conditions of those involved, as well as the circumstances leading to the crash, has not yet been released.
