
Two occupants were left trapped in their crushed vehicle after a fatal crash that took place at the intersection of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Strathern Street in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3:33 p.m. at the intersection of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Strathern Street. Emergency crews arrived to find four occupants involved, including two trapped inside a severely damaged vehicle.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was hospitalized with unspecified injuries, while the two trapped occupants were later extricated by firefighters and transported to a nearby trauma center.
The collision involved a dark blue Chevrolet Silverado and a silver sedan. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, officials said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
