A street vendor has been injured following a car-truck collision that took place in front of the El Rancho Animal Feed Store at the corner of Avenal Street and Highway 395 in Hesperia Sunday morning.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Avenal Street and Highway 395, outside the El Rancho Animal Feed Store. According to investigators, the Mustang swerved after the vehicle in front of it made an abrupt stop, causing the driver to lose control.
The Mustang struck a wall before slamming into a red Toyota Tacoma, where the vendor had been unloading equipment from the rear of the truck. It remains unclear whether the vendor was directly hit by the vehicle or by debris, but he was transported from the scene for medical treatment.
The driver of the Mustang remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. No arrests were made, and the incident remains under investigation.
