25-year-old Maria Alvarado was killed by drunk driver 44-year-old Ricardo Dawkins on Father’s day in Green Tree Boulevard near Hesperia road Sunday afternoon.
Alvarado leaves behind her seven siblings, her two-year-old daughter, and her significant other. The Alvarados are now faced with the task of arranging two funerals — the other being her grandmother’s who also recently passed — within a short time span.
Maria’s mother, Martha Castaneda, arranged a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the funeral expenses of two of their family members and to support the Alvarados during this time of pain.
The organizer expressed that every share, prayer, and kind gesture makes a difference for their campaign.
