A teenage boy riding an e-bike was left with serious injuries after crashing his vehicle with a car at the intersection of Scott Road and Bellamy Lane in Menifee Monday evening.
The collision happened at about 5:30 p.m., the boy was driving south on Bellamy while a red Jeep Cherokee driven by a 28-year-old was heading east on Scott.
The teen continued to ride towards south across Scott, the woman tried to veer her vehicle to avoid the collision but was unable to do so and crashed into the e-bike before crashing into a fence.
The boy was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries, but was fortunately in stable condition on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement as the investigation went on.
