A 20-year-old motorcyclist was left dead following a crash that took place on Bradley Road near Cherry Hills Boulevard in Menifee Tuesday evening.
The incident happened after 9 p.m. Officers spotted a motorcyclist who ran a stop sign and attempted to pull the rider over — only for the motorcyclist to speed off and initiate a police pursuit.
The chase was quickly dropped for the sake of public safety, and when officers continued driving south they later discovered the rider had collided into the west-side curb after travelling at high speeds.
The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
