A child was killed and another hospitalized after a crash involving a recreational vehicle Thursday evening in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The incident reportedly happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 350 block of South New Hampshire Avenue.
According to police, two brothers were riding scooters when they collided with a moving RV. The younger child was pronounced dead at the scene, while his older brother was taken to a hospital and remains in stable condition.
The RV driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The crash remains under investigation.
