SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA – A tragic crash in Shadow Hills claimed the lives of two people Monday afternoon in the San Fernando Valley.
The collision happened around 3:45 p.m. on Wentworth Street near Wheatland Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Each vehicle involved had a single occupant, and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, trapped in the wreckage.
Authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities, ages, or genders. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
This fatal incident adds to growing concerns over road safety in the San Fernando Valley, where deadly collisions have been on the rise in recent months.
