
SANTA ANA, CA — Authorities have identified the two individuals killed in a head-on crash in Santa Ana on the night of Monday, August 4. They were Jorge Andrés Delgado, 29, and Leticia Placencia Alvarado, 32, both residents of Santa Ana.
Delgado was driving a BMW at high speed in the wrong direction on Main Street near Warner Avenue when he crashed head-on into the Honda driven by Alvarado. The violent impact also involved a white Toyota SUV, injuring five people inside, including a 1-year-old child. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
Police are investigating whether Delgado was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He has already been identified as the primary suspect due to his prolonged high-speed driving.
