LOS ANGELES, CA – A violent two-car crash in Lawndale left one person dead Monday morning. The collision occurred at around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Marine Avenue and Mansel Avenue, according to the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station.
Witnesses and aerial footage revealed the extent of the wreck: two sedans were destroyed, vehicle parts were scattered across the road, and a detached door from a black Hyundai bearing the JLM Environmental logo lay on the street.
The area remained cordoned off as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash. As of now, authorities have not released the victim’s identity or additional details.
