FREMONT, CA – Authorities are investigating a fatal car accident in Fremont that occurred Tuesday morning on Paseo Padre Parkway, one of the city’s main roads.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m., between Walnut and Capitol Avenues, and caused the road to be closed for several hours, disrupting morning traffic in the area.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the accident. Fremont police investigators are working to determine how the crash occurred and to collect evidence at the scene.
Officials are urging anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the Fremont Traffic Division to provide information that may assist in the investigation.
