LOS ANGELES, CA — Wednesday night, a police chase in Los Angeles ended in a dramatic multi-vehicle crash and fire, leaving five people injured.
The suspect, driving a stolen vehicle, sped westbound on the 10 Freeway while tossing car batteries out the window, putting other drivers at risk and potentially facing additional charges for assault with a deadly weapon.
The crash involved at least three vehicles, one of which caught fire. Four people suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, while another sustained minor injuries. Authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and whether any victims were trapped in the vehicles.
