Surveillance cameras captured the moment a speeding driver lost control, plowed through bushes, benches, and safety barriers, before slamming into the city’s iconic fountain.
Witnesses reported several men fleeing the scene immediately after the crash, leaving the vehicle completely wrecked. The driver survived and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Authorities confirmed the suspect was already on probation for a prior DUI case and had a criminal record.
