GARDENA, CA – A tragic accident took place Tuesday night at the Harbor Gateway Transit Center, where an LA Metro bus struck and killed a pedestrian lying in the roadway.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the crash happened around 11:24 p.m. Witnesses reported that the man, struck by LA Metro bus, was unconscious on the ground at the time of impact and died at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, and it remains unclear what caused him to collapse in the roadway before being struck.
