Bicyclist Killed in Collision with Jeep in Yolo County
YOLO COUNTY, CA (August 13, 2024) — A bicyclist was fatally injured after being struck by a Jeep on Monday morning in Yolo County.
The Yolo County bike crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on eastbound Highway 113, just west of County Road 102. Preliminary reports indicate that the bicyclist was riding on the right shoulder of the highway when, for reasons still under investigation, they entered the lane of traffic and were hit by the Jeep.
The bicyclist was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
