Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Near Rocklin; Suspect Arrested

PLACER COUNTY, CA (August 6, 2024) — A 28-year-old Fairfield man faces felony charges after a hit-and-run incident Sunday morning near Rocklin in unincorporated Placer County.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred before 4:14 a.m. on Industrial Avenue near Lon McNally Loop. A vehicle struck a bicyclist and fled the scene. The injured bicyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
